About the Role:
We are seeking a Software Tester with 6 months of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products. This is a full-time on-site opportunity for candidates looking to grow their career in software testing and QA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
- Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, log, and track bugs/issues using tools like Jira, Trello, or Excel.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure product quality.
- Prepare and maintain testing documentation & reports.
- Suggest improvements in testing processes and product quality.
Requirements:
- 6 months of proven experience in software/manual testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) & STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Knowledge of different testing types: functional, regression, usability, performance.
- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Excel, or similar).
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be available for full-time on-site role in Nagpur.
